What is the question? Are they sticking? Etc...

Now that i look at it closer, when the line is spooled out, it would be about even. Allow for mostly up-travel to an anchor point when stuck, its prob about right.

PICTURE REQUEST: can someone take a picture of the wires leading to the blower motor resistor? My plug connector melted a long time ago and I cut it off. Now I just have the wires hanging there with a new resistor. My blower motor only works in high. Can I solder these wires to the metal prongs on the resistor?

Just replaced the upper and lower ball joints in my 99xj. One of the uppers refuses to seat all the way down. Anyone else ever have this problem?

I'll throw all of my questions out there. 1993 cherokee sport, it's not in horrible shape but could be better as most jeeps. First, I know my NSS is shot and I have a new one to put in, could that also have caused my reverse lights not to work; if not, what else could cause that? The bulbs are fine and the break and turn signal lights work, just not reverse. Also, my whole passenger side of power options do not work. I'm not into electrical at all, so what should I look at? The po had screwed around heavily with the rear passenger window, so I put a "new" motor and track in. I can run power right to the motor and it works, but it does not work with switches. Thanks for any answers ahead of time!

Can someone help me identify this rear axle please? I'm thinking it is the D35, but wanted to be sure. Jeep is a 99 Cherokee 2WD. I have looked at the other threads, but it looks similar to two that are shown. Yes I am completely new to Jeeps. Do the numbers stamped on it tell which it is? here is what is stamped on mine:

Dana

280 8
