If you put the suspension at full droop with the Trac bar disconnected it should come out. Ive done it this way sevrial times.

No. Jack it up behind the lca mounts on the "frame" untill the front tires are off the ground. This is full droop. Now try and remove the oil pan, sometimes I can get it like this, sometimes i have to remove the Trac bar. Use jackstands while u are under it working.

It will come out. You just have to find the sweet spot. Once you find it it is sooooo easy. Just keep playing with it.

Im at my wits end, all other rattles fixed but this one's horrible. I even stuffed rags all over to try to stop it. Still there. Anyone else have this annoying elusive rattle and fix it? Im wondering if its like my HVAC box or something.
It aint the lid is it? My lid is "removable". It rattles. Could be front pass fender flare vibin'?

You mean the glovebox door? I dont have any flares and my fenders are heavily trimmed. I though maybe air coming in thru the cut fender into the dash? But only does it on the pass side.sounds like its where the a pilliar and dash come together.

I guess I haven't found the "sweet spot" yet, I'll keep tinkering with it, but for some reason if I still can't get it out would unbolting the lca's help at all?

I would do the Trac bar, that will let it drop pretty far.

I read on this link, http://www.stu-offroad.com/recovery/...inchline-6.htm , that the angle of how the winch line exits the fairlead can be detrimental to the life of synthetic rope, ie if it rubs said fairlead it could snap it.

My angle is such that it rubs some by default. Should I raise the winch a little? Or will it be fine?

X2, raising the winch will put alot of extra stress on the mounting hardware. I'd lower the fairlead too.

It would allow your axle to droop further.

You have to shift the pan then twist it

I can't remember exactly what I did but it was never THAT hard.

I put my jeep on jack stands behine the LCA mounts so that the front axle will sag. then it was just a matter of working it out.

I had to do it about 20 times in a row when I added my new high flow oil pump. Oil pan needs modding to be able to fit afterwards.

the solution. Thanks anyway.
