Sounds like it's starving for fuel (fuel pump?), but carb wires??? See if you can verify fuel. I'll let the others with more xj experience chime in from here. Good luck!

The core is the "layer" if you will, of tubing between the left and right end caps of the radiator. More "cores" = more "layers" = more opportunity for coolant to exchange heat into the air. In my experience, more cores don't make the radiator any thicker beyond the end caps and shouldn't be a space issue.

So when i first got my jeep (87 renix cherokee cheif 4.0 5speed) i noticed there was a connector next to the tb not hooked to anything didn't see anything that it could go to either so i shrugged it off. Well i wanted to replace my tps but autozone doesnt have one for the manual so i figured id grab the auto and leave the other pluggin unconnected since i dont have an auto. When i got back to my house i realised that the plug next to my tb that i had found was the connector for an auto tps...... does anyone know if jeeps that came factory with the peugot still had that connector anyway or?
When it is really cold out and I drive a short distance, not getting up to full operating temp, I leek a small amount from somewhere in the right front of the radiator. Once up to operating temp no leaks.
Anyone else experience this?
