Can you not swap one in? I find it great during the winters.

I don't understand why the 242 isn't more common in the northern states where snow is inevitable every year.

Wonder if it was an engineering issue with the standard gears and the TC output process.

or they figured if people were able o drive a stick, they must be smart enough to drive in the snow thus eliminating the need of a 242 lol

where I'm from people think having 4 wheel drive makes up for not knowing how to drive in the snow. It gets very interesting.

I've noticed the xj has had a more noticeable ie rough shift from first to second regardless of vehicle temp. (cold or warm). all other shifts are smooth. fluid is adequate.
adjusted throttle cable pretty recently. thinking it could be a sensor of some sort. google search was pretty lame. lately it seems to bring up mostly grand Cherokee and even new Cherokee results.
was hoping for some ideas. TIA
can someone offer me some guidance?

Is it the flex plate again or something different?
Look here.

Default No Spark, no fuel.

My jeep Cherokee crank continuously but will not start. There is no spark at the plugs and the fuel pump will not prime when the ignition is turned on, although the fuel and voltage gauges read correctly. I can get the fuel pump to run constantly by jumping the relay, so that isn't the issue. No codes are being thrown, and I replaced the CPS yesterday which did not solve the issue, but maybe I got a bad replacement sensor.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I have no idea what this problem could be.

X2. Unless it's cherry red it needs to be flushed. Don't buy into the filter change either.

Default RPM rev when shifting

Automatic transmission.

When I shift from park to drive I hear the engine rev up a little higher than I remember. Also when I shift to reverse. Only when the engine is cold. Maybe I'm thinking too hard but it just seems to be revving higher than I remember.
