Problem: with the headlights off, and when I hit the brakes the front blinker lights and dash lights and HVAC controls all light up.
At first i thought it may just be a funky circuit thing cause my driver side marker light, 3rd brake light were burnt out but I changed the bulbs and it's still doing it. Is there a ground by the pedals that could be messed up or something? Just started randomly.
I went through the same thing with my GFs cherokee. It ended up being the trailer harness. There was a connection in the rear driver quarter panel that was pulling out of the connector. I just deleted the trailer harness since we wont ever tow with this one and problem solved
The front wipers stopped working in the 99. Couldnt find a fuse or relay for them, just a breaker which was good. So should I assume that its a bad wiper motor? Anyone know how to test one?

not sure but I keep reading about wiper problems being related to ground being corroded. U could also check the voltage to the motor or if the motor is getting any power?

Oh alright. And yeah, I was hoping someone could tell me what pins on the connector should have power and which is ground so I could just test the motor

Well I used my lunch break to do a little testing. Took the cowl panel off unhooked the wiper motor connector and turned the wipers on. I got power to all but two pins, which from this link https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f2/tes...-motor-179875/ sounds right. And ofcourse when I plugged it back in, the wipers started working.
So they work now but it probably is a bad ground. Now I need to find where the ground wire runs to so it doesnt stop working while its raining/snowing
When the doors are closed on my truck, I can see a small gap between the top of the doors and the door weather stripping. I'm thinking about changing the weather stripping on the door cavity. Do I have to pull all the interior plastic trim to change that weather stripping? I briefly considered trying to slightly bend the upper door frame to close the gap, but that looks like it would be a big PITA to bend, and would probably not help my slow window issues. Talk about nit picking........
I know that it is not a complete fix, but if the problem is just your weather stripping I have seen people take a small diameter rope and tuck it into the weather stripping. This will push on the stripping and make it fill the void. I saw it on the bleepin jeep Chanel on YouTube. I think he used a black .25" rope and then of course cut to length.
But if it is your door sagging than you may want to look into fixing that lol

Looked at the pinion angle today and I think it looks good, and the LCAs are adjusted the farthest back with no shims. So i'm thinking it's a pinion bearing? Wouldn't be surprising with it being 27 years old. What do you all think?

You have a HP lol. You should be good with your lift. Do you have any play in the DS. Twisting, up down movement etc

An infra red temperature gun can help diagnose these issues. After running 55mph, check suspected bearings.
the horn now sounds when i open any door including trunk. i was looking for somthing in my trunk and the horn suddenly went off so i shut the trunk and it went off but i went to go to drive and i opend my driverside door and it happend agen i dont know what it could be (1999 jeep cherokee) sorry if i posted this wrong still trying to understand the site
