However, if it's the plastic res, it doesn't have separate chambers for both... so if the fluid level gets down too low, you can wind up with air in the rest of the system.

If you keep enough fluid in the resevoir, you might be able to get away with it... but why chance it? Not to mention, if it's been sitting that long, moisture could have collected in the lines and fluid and cause them to not work efficiently anyway. Best to just do a full drain, fill, and bleed of the whole system. It's not hard.

I paid 5 bucks for this at harbor freight http://www.harborfreight.com/automot...kit-37201.html and while primitive, it makes one-person-bleeding much much easier.

You're on an open system. As long as there's the proper amount of fluid in your reservoir tank and your radiator cap is holding proper pressure, your radiator should take care of evacuating the air on its own.
It's the plastic res and agreed on all points. Thanks! I have that bleeder kit and it definitely makes things easier

The putco ones are honda relays (4 prong). I have now found the right ones, but at this point that doesn't matter.

I just need someone who has converted for the bosch relays because i don't know which wires are going to go where.

It would. IMO i would order the springs and shocks seperate at that point. That way you don't have parts you're not using.

Why not just get a kit with full leaf packs, instead of buying an AAL and separate leafs anyway? I'd also recommend going with something else other than Rough Country. Rubicon Express, Zone, Iron Rock Offroad, Rusty's, all have nice 3" lift kits.

Compatible? I mean, you could put them in with it, but why would you want to? The leaf packs you posted already lift it 3". All you'd be doing there is making your Jeep ride like a lowrider in the back.

What are these?

From a fel pro gasket set.

I'm guessing all the way to the right is the seal for the valve cover bolts, but what are the other 2?

The middle one snaps into the holes in the VC and act as bushings for the bolts. They limit the crush.

Not sure what the thing on the left is. Or the thing in the right. Gasket should go around the bolt holes.

Thanks. So i was wrong about the one on the right then?

I'll be pulling my valve cover off soon. Possibly this weekend. I've had it off before and already have the fel pro reusable on there.

Looks like a fuel injector seal to me!

Default 1998 5-Speed wiring harness

Hi thanks for creating this thread! I have a 1998 5-speed that I bought and it didn't come with the engine wiring harness. I am having a lot of trouble finding one! Do you know if a 1998 auto harness will work or if a 1997 or 1999 5-speed harness will work?

Thanks again!!

Yes the '98 auto should be an easy fit. There will be some extra crap in there for the automatic transmission and TCU but you can ignore it.
