I guess I'm not being clear. It runs 210 all the time, but in stop and go traffic it gets really hot. I would take a picture but thankfully I haven't run into any traffic today. I was idling for a few minutes at the airport the other day and it got dangerously hot, like almost pegged out.

I don't know where that comes from, but I don't see how that's possible. The bulk of wiring as well as the controls are in the driver door, plus the window lockout switch is also on the driver door.
This.
The mechanical fan is your main source of air draw through the radiator. The electric fan is actually referred to as "auxillary" for the purpose of just that... another fan in addition to the main fan. The mechanical fan is a very effective means of drawing air through the radiator - just make sure the shroud is in place and the clutch is in good working order.

Edit: I was wrong. There are 4 wires coming out of the connector going to the harness. Purple, blue, orange, and black. Also that says that is for a Wrangler. What are you trying to do? Will still post pics but maybe this will help:

The only thing I can say from experience is that at idle the mechanical fan is not drawing much air. If you're standing in front of the jeep at idle and the e-fan comes on you can feel the air flow increase significantly. I'd say 2-3 times more CFM(not measured just by feel) is drawn through the radiator than by the mechanical fan at idle. Rev it up a bit to 1200-1500 rpm and they're probably pretty close when at a standstill.
I have a 2.5 with a single E-fan and I need additional cooling.
I've been looking closely at a solution.
Reading what I can on mech fan vs clutch fan vs e-fan.
I'm seriously considering a 4.0 rad with 3 e-fans.
Just looking at which direction to throw my money at.
I will also have to give close consideration to the quality of e-fans.
Replaced my starter and now its making a grinding noise on starts. I imagine I need to shim it a bit? How thick of a shim are these things and where do I find them? I see some weird ones on parts store sites
