Default Adding factory cruise to 99 XJ

Looking to add this in before our next long drive, have everything but the switches, actuator mount, and clock spring.

Info I've found elsewhere says I should have a CS with cruise for this year, but curious if anyone else has done this upgrade?

Bent the bars on the POS steering wheel puller just trying to see if I need the part >..<

What about Fram filters though?

I totaly agree with you on the Fram filters...they do make a line of HP filters (having a senior moment) but I don't remember their part# ..there are just a few for all applications..and they cost$!..in my opinion the standard line is junk ..but the HP line is the bomb..most racers use them..both dirt and road course...It is a big deal..I remember when the Mistubishi V6 came out, they would blow a Fram up ...litterly..pressure relief valve in filter was set wrong..you had to use a OEM filter..I've chopped Frams in half and they don't seem to filter squat...might as well not have a filter all...but the HP line is very good. On another note..LOL I avoid getting in rabbit holes with a Pit Bull..LOL.."micro welds" my axx ...I've had to throw out 1000's of valves because they are pounded out so bad there is nothing left to machine.. before No Lead I never ran into that (or any of my builder buddies) I convert all the heads I (and my buddies) to stainless seats on exhaust valves..there have been tens of thousands of marine engines ruined because of ethenol fuels..many lawsuits ..Personally I have had to "purge' the fuel systems on all the race machines (even with race fuels) after every weekend or the diaphrams in the fuel pressure regulators and all other non-metal seals, etc. in the fuel systems turn into "gummie bears" ..The high dollar Holly PR's are very susceptible to this if anybody is running one on their Jeep..it will drive you crazy trying to diagnose..my Jeep PR was bad with the same problem..diaphgram turned to "gummie bear"..caused all kinds of starting and running issues..I ****** every PR I can find when I go to junk yards now..

Thanks but I'm trying to find where it bolts to? I thought it went on the transmission or transfer case

Case closed finally figured it out bolts to the side of the tranny tunnel. Was looking all over the side of the tranny and transfer case and all I had to do was turn my head and look down the tranny tunnel

Correct. It is missing the clip that clips on to your oxygen sensor for the cat. Keeps the wires from getting caught in the driveshaft....ask me how I know

I have a tech question here...

I noticed my driver side droops lower than my passenger side. How long until the stock steering tie rod ends (drag link in particular) start holding up your articulation? I'm still short arm and can max out my driver side. I have extended brake lines and proper length shocks that can handle long arm travel. However my control arm setup is just adjustable lowers with stock uppers. Which kind of brings my axle back closer to the body when set for proper pinion angles. I figure it's either one of the two reasons, I'm not sure if my axle placement is causing a bind or the factory drag link with stock TRE's.

I know this has been asked a million times, so consider this a million and one. Whats the track bar mounting bracket bolt size(s)? Google is worthless sometimes.
