The thing about Champion spark plugs is that they are made for the High Performance guy...the heat ranges are so close ,..that the normal customer has'nt got a clue which one to use ...they give away copped washer's to index them (again outside of normal cusfomer use) and "Joe Shmo" reads an article, use's the wrong plug, and "COOKS" his head gasket....Great for racers..but regular guys need nothing more then "cheap" solid core plugs (Champions have a spring contact on some of their plugs that rusts inside the plug)..depends on your use..if you service your plugs regularly..no worries...but if you are one of the majority.."solid core" is good for the long haul....after thought..those copped qashers are the bomb...if you want to "index" your plugs..it's the only way...yea the only wY

Champion spark plugs or NGK are the best plugs to run in a Jeep Cherokee 4.0L

From what I have learned they are the best to run in a Jeep.. In my 95 all I have run is Champion(RC12LYC) no problems(owned the Jeep since new)
Im my 2000(owned the Jeep since new)I run ZF5RN NGK, did run (RC12ECC) champions in the 2000 for a while but the 2000 seems to like the NGK better..
I might try NGK(VR5-1) for the 95 next tune up and see how they do. If not so good back to champions (RC12LCY) for the 95.

Ha! Nope. We just cracked the bolt that connects line to caliper and let it gravity bleed for a few hours. After eventually crossing over to using vice grips (bolt was rounded) we figured the next step was probably snapping it. My roommate being broke (his car) we just let it go for now and keep the car drivable. He said he was going to get another one at the end of the week when he could afford it, but that was 2 days ago and no mention of swapping it

I gave you my answer in your other post on this. Brand-wise, I guess it depends on your needs/expectation. Is it a DD, weekend-warrior or hardcore crawler?

It depends on what you intend for your jeep to do. We need more info. Is your jeep stock height or do you have a 48 inch lift? Do you intend on it never seeing mud or is it going to be a mix of a wheeler and dd. I like my rough country 3in lift but a lot of guys don't like rough country. You can get Rusty's 3in lift, or a Rubicon express, or a... I could go on for days!

A simple cut, strip and solder be sufficient? Nothing else wrong with this unit aside from this.

Cut out the bad, solder, and shrink wrap. Then just pay attention to your repair as you use it.

This is a slow but thorough walkthrough on soldering stranded copper wire.
