After seeing those other pics I'm not so sure. Wait for someone familiar with the 1991-1995 XJs to comment

Default Sludge in the oil

I just bought a 94 Cherokee sport 4.0x6

There is sludge in the bottom of my dip stick..

Told that it could be the weather and water collecting in the pan and separating... I don't think it is but just want to hear/read what you guys thought...

I do need to replace the CCV setup, but I also have at least a leak from my valve cover. I have attached picture of my dip stick, my oil fill cap doesn't have anything unusual on it.

My question is, should I proceed to rotate them? I put maybe 6-7k kms (I guess around 4k miles) on them since I bought them new, and would like the best setup for their current condition. They have about 3-4/32 of difference between front and rear. If I should rotate, what's the pattern I should follow? Left rear on right front, right rear on left front and both front wheels on the same side but rear? Thanks!
I suggest aligning it rather than eating two more tires. Likely just the toe setting that is causing the wear.

im thinking it's the ignition switch. Number 51 is the only plug I see. Could these wires be for a kill switch the previous owner had once installed?

alright, so it is the ignition switch. Found this pic on Google. It's gots the yellow and black wire and o have the same colors, but has a red instead of purple BUT, my purple wire is spliced to a red wire. So what does this mean? Also, mine has the other plug up by the Guage cluster as well. I'm confused, need help

the plug you posted is your high beam switch.
un plug it and turn your lights on. bet they are out.
the second plug looks like the factory fog light switch plug.

so, what's the loose yellow wire for? If I remember correctly, I turned my headlights, blinkers, etc on with it unplugged and they still worked. So it's not ignition switch?

Every oil change or 5k miles is recommended

*The Tire & Rim Association has identified three traditional rotation patterns covering most vehicles (equipped with non-directional tires and wheels which are the same size and offset). The first being the "Rearward Cross" (Figure A); the second being the "Forward Cross" (Figure C); and the third is the "X-Pattern" (Figure B). The X-Pattern can be used as an alternative to A or C.

If you got directional tread pattern front to back is all you can really do unless you unmount and mount the tires.

Edit: *Picture and text from Tirerack.com...lol

haha, I'll get the poutine after I'm done, easier to work this way!.

I did get an alignment after finally getting the new trackbar and everything is fine now. they just didn't rotate the tires because I guess I didn't ask them to. i'm just wondering if it would be best to have the more worn tires in the back or in the front.
