When my jeeps warmed up, sometimes, if I just give the gas pedal a quick tap, it'll act like it wants to stall, but won't. If I just give it gas or floor it, it acts fine and will go. Any ideas as to why it wants to stall whenever I tap the pedal?

On my 99 Sport, Automatic.

When I turn the engine off, there is a whining, almost a whistle sound for about 10 seconds.
I have checked the fans and it is not them.

Anyone else have this noise. It has not alway done this. Just the last month.

Any Ideas?

I've cleaned my throttle but not IAC. I'll try that.

1985 Cherokee (Wagoneer model not grand waggoneer)

Front brakes keep locking up on hot days after driving for a while. Have replaced calipers, pro portioning valve, all rubber hoses, and rebuilt master cylinder.

The don't lock anymore but I still have the problem, pressure in system slowly goes up (to the point the pedal has no play) front wheels hot, stop driving it for 20 minutes, all normal again. Keep driving it and front calipers slowly close.

Nothing left to replace and no ideas....

Is the caliper pins/bolts greased and slides freely on the calipers?

The pro portioning valve was frozen, soaked it in parts cleaner overnight and still stuck. Figured replacing it was surely the problem....

Ever check the clearance between the booster rod and master cylinder?

Low oil pressure at hot idle. So ive had this problem with my 2001 XJ 4.0L since I bought it. So far ive put in a new sending unit, a new oil pump, rod bearings and many other engine bearings, O2 sensors and a new water pump. I honestly don't know what else to do. Basically, when the engine has reached NOT and I come to a stop, the oil pressure drops all the way down to 0 psi and the check gauges light comes on. My engine light is on now but its only for a evap purge valve. and other small things that wont affect how the engine runs. anyone have any idea why this keeps happening to me?
