However, as soon as I plugged it in, still testing the wire for volts, it would lose all the power at that point of the wire (right at the PCM). Also it would have no power down at the sensor at this point. Sorry for the poor description, I am new to electricity and this is my first fix to a broken circuit.
You would be better served if you created your own thread on the OEM Cherokee Tech forum relating to your problem instead of this Ask The Question Thread, which is a cacophony of questions and answers that your posts get lost in.

See you there...

I'm getting the P0705 error code. No reverse lights. So looks like my JB Weld fix of the broken NSS has failed. Anyone ordered this NSS from the above site? At only $50 I am a little unsure. Unless they are a clearance item. It reads 91% off.

Just curious.. Not sure if this is truly the right place, but.. Anyone have any experience with the Duralast 2 ton shop crane? I plan on getting one the end of this week, and figured I'd ask for feedback. They've also got a "big red" shop hoist at TSC, but since I have a rewards card at Autozone and they look basically the same, I'm probably leaning towards the Duralast.

So I've looked around and all I've found is u-joint suggestions and driveshaft balance.
The day before yesterday I drive into town (30 minutes) jeep is nice and warm, I turn it off and it's parked for two hours, get back in and now there's obscene vibration about 45 mph onward, faster I go the worse vibration, the only catch is it doesn't do it at low load or under throttle, mainly cruising throttle.

And how did you determine that?

Doesn't every OEM Jeep have a VSS? Is it an option as far as you're concerned? Something one might ADD?

87 renix 4.0
How important is the charcoal canister(i think thats what its called) to the system? I did the oil filter adapter swap to a newer style where the filter now sits horizontally. It makes changing the filter a real pita with the oversize filter i run. Could it be removed and the lines either plugged or spliced together?

Leave the canister. Buck up and deal with the filter.
