Is this bad I just saw it. I believe it's by the power steering resivoire. It is affected by belt n I think is connected as a support to the water pump

Can I still drive it or at least let the engine run I put in a new thermostat and want to see if I did it right. It does look like it went all the way thru if I take the bolt out the broke piece will fall off.

ohhh I see it now. I would not drive it like that but starting it for that reason should be ok. That bracket needs to be repaired or replaced.

How do I take the shift **** off an automatic? Cleaning out a 91 Cherokee Sport, took the console out because I found a mouse nest under it. I Actually don't need to take the shifter out, I just want to take off the piece that tells you what gear you're in.

I've taken 2 off. Once at the junkyard (my practice attempt) and once one my jeep. (the one that counted) Both times with vehicle off and in park (parking brake wouldn't hurt either.) Squeeze button on side hard and pull up hard. Soft blow hammer may assist with upward pull. Good luck!

Alright I tried researching this one and couldn't find a solid answer.
I'm going to be putting an np231 transfercase from a '98 XJ in my '94 XJ (99% sure it'll bolt up). My current np231 is on its last leg so I'm building this one up in the garage and throwing it in when it's done.
My question is, can I use my '94 driveshafts or will I have to get some from a '98? I noticed that the tailshaft cone is a little different between the two.

Alright hi all, lookin for some info on my rear end. I have a 97 dana 35. I was given a powertrax no slip "locker" but I do believe it says it is for a 90-93 xj dana 35. I don't see why the year would matter as long as it is a dana 35.. Does anyone know if it will work in my 97 35 or are things different sizes internally or something. any help is much appreciated!

Well I am fairly new to the whole wheeling thing, so I wouldn't consider it hard wheeling. I was mainly looking for help in the snow here in wisconsin cuz with my fat tires she don't do very well. I wouldn't mind upgrading the rear axle but I have other thing to take care of on the to-do list first. Just figured since it was free I might give it a try, but guess not
