You can still ask around see what other say. I have a c8.25 so I'm not too familiar with limitations of the 35 that's all. But anything I hear always willing to pass on to a fellow jeeper

I've attached a picture for you to see if your yoke looks like this, it could cause leaks if you have that groove even replacing the seal. Well hope something I've said helps.

Hey I hear people always talking about putting lockers on their jeep, what exactly is this? Does it give 2wd jeeps kind of like a 4wd ?? If someone could help explain it all to me that would be awesome, thanks for any help!

So to start. Many Cherokees have open differentials. That means when one tire has no traction, like in the air, ice etc, it will spin and get 100% power and the other side won't spin at all. A locker locks that differential so when one tires loses traction the locker locks the differential and cause the wheels to spin together so the other side spins. There's many different types I lockers and it's not to be confused with 4x4. Many people with 2wd jeeps with a locked rear will testify they go through mid like nothing at all. If you trail often a locker is a good idea but I've heard people say a locker in the snowy weather is something to get used too. Do a CF search there should be good write ups on em. Use the link in my sig of you can to search

The issue with lockers in snow isn't about traction; it's about predictability. I haven't used one myself, but what I've read indicates that rear lockers have a mind of their own on snow and ice, and it can cause complications.
Like any debate, some people say they won't use them in snow, and others say they don't notice a difference.
Someone, please correct me if I'm misinformed.

You pretty much hit the nail on the head. The issue with lockers in the snow is with the back end kicking out suddenly in turns.

It kinda likes to perform a power brake on snow and ice while turning, I didn't know my other xj had one until I drove it the first time after I got her lol. Was making a turn onto a icy road and my jeep decided to lose traction on the driver rear and the passenger side spun me around. I said a choice words, I looked into the next morning. The other owner said he forgot to mention a locker lol

Tires will do the best and a light foot. I don't think I've ever asked you. Do you have 2wd or 4wd jeep

4wd. micky t's 32x11.5 r15. like driving on a ice rank I just want a locker so that when I go in the ditch Ill have a better chance of getting back out. My jeep is so bad on the snow and ice right now i dont think a locker could make it any worse. I drive a jacked up jeep haha if its gonna suck that bad it should at least be able to get back outta the ditch. I mean ***** I got stuck in a flat corn feild with a half inch of snow bout a month ago haha fml
