Fo sho, I've replaced my fuel filter twice since I've owned mine. I'd imagine that a '97 has it in the same spot? maybe he just didn't know where to look.

No posi traction is what americans call LSD (limited slip dif) which is basically the metric term lol for posi tractions.
There are clutches in an lsd that allow cornering without the inner wheel spinning faster than the outside wheel and hopping or squeeling, while still powering both wheels.
Locker, being with an actual locker, is basically a spring loaded racheting mechanism, when the power is on, its locked both wheels get equal RPMS, like a welded rear, and when the power is off, it unlocks and operates just like a stock open diff (peg leg 1 wheel peel)

Some... they are called selectable lockers. Examples include ARB air lockers, OX lockers, and Eatone e-lockers
Some, called auto lockers lock on their own... Examples such as detroit locker and aussie locker.
I would suggest, despite selectable lockers higher price tag, their purchase above auto lockers, on your rig, if it gets considerable road time.
Auto lockers cause very different vehicle handling charachteristics in certain situations, such as handling in snowy conditions.
Auto lockers also can cause premature tire wear, especially if you take corners fast.
In the long run selectable lockers are better... if you drive it more on road than off.

quick question, but hopefully someone out there has the answer. I recently did a push button mod and it seems as though i have damaged a fuse or something and my left blinker now doesnt work. It goes on solid, but wont flash. where is the little mechanism that controls that? its a 20 yr old car and its never been replaced so im imagining that will do the trick. Thanks for any advice or help.
