Ok so I will start off with I don't know crap about tire sizes. That being said. Right now I have mismatched tires. One says 30 9.5 15. The rest say 235 75 r15. I am assuming that the 30 should be the inches. When I measure it I get more like 27 and a half. And it doesn't really look low or any thing. WTF. should 30 fit on stock or what I assume to be stock. Sure looks it

The "Part-Time" light is to let you know that part-time 4x4 is engaged. On a jeep, this means that you should only be using this setting "part of the time". You should NOT use the 4x4 part-time position on dry/wet pavement, or anytime that the surface you are driving on is not what you would consider a "loose" surface (ie. snow, mud, sand, dirt trail, rocks). Using 4x4 part time on solid/grippy surfaces will lead to hopping/skipping/binding while turning because the wheels are locked together, and will lead to failure in one or more of the 4x4 components.

I just tested my 4wd in an emtpy lot and found that it is making the EXACT sound mentioned- HOPPING/SKIPPING/BINDING.
<sigh> what needs changed NOW?
