All year XJ's have similiar or exact wiring harness' . So if you don't have an option that is available on another model then you would have a plug that goes to nothing. I have a few that don't go anywhere in my engine bay.

Wondering if anyone knows the size die I would need to use on a zj tie rod to clean up the threads? Just swooped one up and the threads are kinda boogered up but salvageable I think..
My 99 xj is making a binding noise while turning and the steering wheel shakes. Mostly on left turns. It's the same noise and shaking as if it was in 4wd. I haven't used 4wd recently either. What would be causing this?
Edit: it's now making it turning right too just as bad. Are my hubs and/or u-joints shot?

I unplugged the o2 sensor and was able to drive it about 100 yards before it blew it out. with the o2 sensor plug in it wouldnt drive more then a foot. also it will blow the fuse out in 2wd if i spin the rear tires a lot such as when im in the snow. any help or ideas will be greatly appreciated! thanks!

sry if im not doing this right im new to the forum started a new thread n then i saw this so please bare with me i have a 93 cherokee 4.0 recently put a 2001 motor in and it ran great for about 4 weeks now it starts right up but will shut right off within 2 sec ive replaced the fuel pump tps iac valve and the cps none of them fixed the problem also fuel pressure is good i think its something electrical please help
We have a 1998 Grand Cherokee Laredo Auto 4.0, that we bought last week. Put trans filter, power steering hose, brake caliper, fuel pump and filter. It was shifting fine but not now lol...it will not shift from 1st to 2nd. We put the ATF+4 trans fuel in it, as far as the motor up until this started it sounds and runs good. It had been sitting up for 2 years. I guess I'm fixing to have to buy a transmission?
Well today found out the Speed Sensor was not plugged in, but still will not shift. Computer gives out no codes as to where the problem is, the guy said it didn't even show the sensor wasn't plugged in.

I've started the process of troubleshooting my power door locks not working. From my searches the first step is to lubricate the door locks, which makes sense as they are very hard to lock manually. I've pulled the door panels in the front and moving the actuator rod manually is also very difficult.
What exactly do I need to lubricate to make them smoother?
TIA
