still trying to track down a vibration on deceleration. I've asked about transfer case bearings and I'm set on rebuilding the TC, (got a slight lateral play at the yoke) but by looking around I also noticed about 1mm of play on my front driveshaft. is some play expected or it should be completely solid (I'm guessing the latter..)

Hahaha! No worries. Yep, Wix 51515 and T6.
I assume that the Jeep is just telling me the oil filters getting full cause the oils cleaning things out. But thought after almost 2 years, it would be cleaned out by now.
I do a bit of highway driving if that matters.

Maybe I missed it, but how many miles constitute two years of driving?

Hey all,
I am trying to retro an 89 xj Laredo. The cargo area has stainless steel carpet skids. I have managed to straighten them out pretty well but I am missing the black plastic endcap for one of the rails like you see in the picture.
Does anyone know where I can get one? Thanks
-Kent

Adding a solvent to your oil is pretty desperate and can screw things up. Imagine a chunk of sludge getting stuck in an oil passage inside the crank.
