Bope 96 is much simpler than 97 up,a scanner is still useful for reading live data but there costly where a code reader is less expensive 91 to 96 have a built in one.

It should... it says it does in the link you posted. I just assume it won't give me all of the codes OBD-II would.

Just make sure you touch something metal after exiting your Jeep and before you start pumping gas
Synthetic fabrics contribute to static electricity along with the lack of humidity in sub-freezing temperatures. Shouldn't be wearing those leisure suits in the winter anyway.......

Where is the coolant drain plug on a 2.5L? I've opened the one at the radiator which leaked out only a couple quarts, I cant find the one on the engine block.

Any decent way to stop my valve from leaking? Had a shop replace the valve but it didn't help. They said it looks like the rim is rusted out around it which is killing the seal. Reputable shop. Replace the rim? Any kind of sealant that may work?

Valve core or the whole stem? I've had some luck with Slime (green snot in a clear bottle), but if your rim is that rusty I'd replace it.

Can try Slime as a temporary fix.
