It looks like they replaced the whole stem because the threads for the valve cap are crispy new looking. I am trying to find one on craigslist for cheap. They're just cheap steel stock wheels. Too bad I don't have the cash for some fancy new ones

Ok simple fix. Let the air out. Pop the bead. Use a highlift to pop the bead if no access to a tire machine. And then get creative with a bit of rtv. Push it in between the stem and wheel. The let it dry before filling the tire up.

Slime is let meant to stay in a tire long term. Just temporary and honestly one should carry a plug kit for road repairs of nails

Does slime even work. Never even wanted to try it. Feel like it'll through a tire off balance.

It works. Till the tire tech punches you in the face. Slime and fix a flat.... that **** never washes off of clothes or skin without a harsh solvent that burns.

Of course. You have to deal with it in customers' tires and it's nasty. It also deprives you of revenue because when it works, people don't come to your shop. lol

Yes. I've used it on my XJ to fix several slow leaks and one very fast leak caused by an errant bolt lol. Had it in all four seasons in different tires, ~40k KM driven, no issues whatsoever. I have no idea where the leaks are but after the first bottle I bought some more.

Maybe the Slime you have down there in the Murica is different. Stuff up here comes off easily with the orange hand cleaner from Home Depot.

What's the best way to securely mount hockey puck bump stops in the front?

I pay the tire tech for a job. Not worried if they get dirty doing it! Slime works great. I normally only use it in bikes and trailer tires, but have used in cars and trucks.
Sorry, just don't agree with " don't use it" just because it is hard to work with.

5 minute epoxy. Sand the surface and clean first. Done

I drilled a hole in the center of the hockey puck and a hole in the center of the coil spring perch. Then secure the puck(s) down with a self tapping bolt. I grinded the top puck out a bit to make it countersunk, now the bolt head is flush with the top of the hockey puck.
