and bhennesee as much as i hate drum they are managable. they just have so many damn small parts. the springs are a pain in the ***.

I agree. Discs are the way to go.

I much rather have discs, but I can think of about 30 things that I would rather buy for the jeep than brakes.

Don't forget if ppl are lucky, the first edition liberties had 8.25 rears and some had discs. Direct bolt on. Go check you jy. Zj are a choice but need to bore center hole larger. It's funny how drums were cheaper to produce but suk to maintain. Well the sprigs at least lol

im glad they banned front wheel drums back in the 60s... brakes would have been a pain in the *** all the way around for ever
