Yes. I get it into 4H while moving, then stop, throw the trans into neutral, and shift to 4L.

Probably ain't so bad with your slushbox. With the stick and a bad tranny mount it's always a fun experience as it LUNGES in high range before engaging the planetary gear hehehe

Looks like my pinion angle is ~9*, my driveshaft is coming in at ~15*, am I correct to think a 4 degree would hit it pretty solid? Or should I go 6 degrees? Dbl cardan drive shaft & D35 rear axle. With the double cardan, I want it dead on, right? That may be better with 6 degree shims then, but then I read stuff about wanting a little lower angle even with the dbl cardan due to movement under load...

The single cardan side should be almost flat, no angle at all, putting all the action up at the double cardan. Yes for load a degree downwards is better since under compression (acceleration) the pinion angle will go up a bit.

Only difference is ignition and manifold, just like you said

The 00+ manifold will bolt up, but won't seal entirely well on the earlier heads.

I don't know. Not even sure on the exhaust port thing. When did they go to cast exhaust manifolds? Only on 4 cat models?

Look up an intake/exhaust gasket and compare them?

On my 99 Cherokee the dash light for the rear hatch is on and I can't find the problem.
When I turn off the Jeep all if the lights instantly go out except the Hatch indicator, it slowly dims to off.

Anyone have any ideas where to look?
