I'm less worried about the PS and more worried about the AT. What would be recommended here? Just wondering if there will be a significant difference due to the stacked layout of the second cooler.
Price isn't much different. Size and depth aren't issues in this application. I just want to maximize cooling.

Thoughts?

I'd go with the first one personally. it's better to have a cooler trans, than it is PS. They both look well built though.

It should. AFAIK, nothing changed in the design of the shroud or the radiator.

I have an 88 Jeep Cherokee, 4.0, in line 6. The Jeep has been sitting for about 2 1/2 years. It ran when it was parked. I recently got it back in the garage and started to get it driveable again. I did the basics fresh gas, new fuel filter, oil, tune up, etc, etc, . Fires up and runs. Idles a little rough, but still runs. UNTIL. it warms up to operating temperature. Then if I turn it off, it will not restart. I replaced the CTS, and ran all the voltage test on everything and all and all seems fine. It almost acts like vapor lock, however, if I open the scherader valve and turn over it almost will start. My next question is two part. How do I tell a RENIX from a Jeep and is it true what I read about grounds. Mine seem okay.

'87-90 is the Renix era, and grounds are the biggest problem with them.

Hey all, I'm a brand new owner of a KL and I just signed up on here. I'm a welder fabricator and I'm looking to make lift plates for my Cherokee, I'm searching here to see if anyone has done anything like this or if they have a better way of going about getting 2" or more out of the KL jeep. Can anyone supply me with a link if this has already been discussed? I've been searching through here but haven't found anything yet. Any help would be great. Thx.

Default Exhaust crimp?

So I've been having a bit of sputtering under power and well feeling like the jeep is a bit underpowered. I've come up with two possible problems. One being the exhaust, I looked up and down the pipe and at the very beginning where the pipe bolts to the headers there is a nice dent that really constricts the flow. I'm trying to upload a picture as well. The second problem is fuel filter. I can't find an inline fuel filter anywhere. I changed the fuel pump assembly with new stainer bag, but if I follow the line to the front I find no canister filter. Is that possible? Also has anyone changed there fuel line to a stainless braided line? Mine is half the diameter of my pinky finger and extremely rusted, I'm thinking it needs to be replaced as well. Any thoughts on my sputtering?

your inline should be right above the diff on the fuel door side

I think the only way to get the KL some lift is by using taller tires. I dont think there really is a way to lift the KL(I could be wrong). But here is some reading in this link
