NP249 in ZJs is like that. XJs, being a real Jeep, are just gears (planetary differential).

That's what ZDDP and molybdenum do. Would be great for a manuel transmission, probably destroy a slushbox completely.

Add a little Dex, see what happens lol. It's the right viscosity, unlike Lucas Transmission Fix

They claim it's the perfect additive for every type of engine, as well as power steering, transmissions, and more. It increases horsepower and fuel economy. It bonds to metal and changes its surface after adding it to oil, but it doesn't affect any of the oil's properties. And I don't know about ZDDP, but it doesn't contain molybdenum.

Definition of snake oil.

Cruise control has been finicky lately. Just installed a new-to-me clock spring and a JY engine servo.

- Most times when I turn the cruise control on the servo will not kick in to hold the speed
- Sometimes the cruise control light will not come on at all
- Horn still works and there is no airbag light, even when the cruise control light will not come on at all
- Sometimes after failing to engage the servo, the cruise control light will turn off and will not come back on after pressing the on button

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

I've never had a Jeep with CC, so I don't know the full diagnostic procedure. But could that be caused by a vacuum leak?

Yup.

Does your HVAC ever turn to the defrost position on its own?
