Gotta chose your battles.
Found this for what I think is cheap. $250.
Now Amazon tells me that it won't fit.
Parts #'s in my '00 XJ Parts Catalog:
5301 0196 1 ER0 Front
5301 0199 1 ER0 Rear
Parts #'s from an online Mopar parts place:
MANIFOLD. Front. Exhaust.
Part Number: 53010196 ; 53010196AB
This fits your 2005 Jeep Wrangler
MANIFOLD. Rear. Exhaust.
Part Number: 53010199 ; 53010199AB
This fits your 2005 Jeep Wrangler
Any thoughts?

I don't see why these won't work. But what do I know? Like the fact that they are still two piece unlike the Banks which are not. At least not in the picture at there site. Frankly for a stock motor this probably not worth. But I also toy with the idea of getting a motor built from time to time. Not a stroker per se but with a little something something. Info makes for better decision making. Even if I found out for sure that they would work will I still buy them? Who knows. Still what like to here what people think anyway.
The box they are in says '00 to '05. And you would think they would change the part # for factory parts if there was a change. But I know from spending time here that you know your stuff. Which means further investigation would be necessary.
Just to be clear this is pretty much all wishful thinking and daydreaming on my part but you never know.

Hi all, this is my first time posting. I have a 98 cherokee with with a code PO705 for trans range sensor. from what ive read it sounds like the nss is gummed up and could be bad. But i ran all the tests like reverse lights work and it starts in neutral and everything else is fine so not sure what it is. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

I don't have personal experience with the problem, but this thread may or may not help you

Anything wrong with these ebay exhaust manifolds?

I know not to buy a turbo kit off ebay, but didn't know if there's a significant difference in quality between the no-namer above, and something like this OMIX one—same design.

My logic is that they can't be as bad as the OE ones that crack…

Hi guys,
I have a 2000 xj and a knocking noise coming from the rear end of the engine. Sounds like something contacting the cylinder wall. I know Im going to do an engine swap but im trying to decide on whether to put in a rebuilt engine or a 4.5-4.6 stroker. Ive never done an engine rebuild or swap before and Ive been trying to get a feel for how much it would cost to build these myself, there is just so much information to sort though. No mater which option I go with I would like to have something with stock reliability/longevity or preferably better than. Looking for recomendations and round numbers for how much it will cost if I do the build myself

Have you checked to make sure none of the flex plate bolts are loose. Flex plate knocking is always mistaken for a motor knock from the rear.
