Keep up the good work. Don't stop until it's actually red... If you're going through a LOT you can apparently do a "fluid exchange" wherein you disconnect the transmission cooler and let the transmission basically pump out the old and suck up the new. Saw a writeup on it on this forum a little while back. BUT... there's a fair chance that internal damage has been already done. May want to see if anybody has a compatible AW4 for cheap

I would but with what I've done to this transmission in the past, I pretty sure it's gone. I've ran it dry once for so long that it was smoking. Another time it over heated so much that the fluid was boiling and fizzing. And trans fluid boils at 550 degrees from what I heard. Also, it performed great with the chocolate milk fluid it had in it before, and after a few fluid changes. It is worse which doesn't make any sense, so yea. But thanks for the tip guys. Appreciate it.

first time I didn't know it was loosing fluid, and I never found where it lost it from. Second time,,I was in the middle of the woods doing some trail riding on some hilly forest and it overheated but I had to keep driving in order to get out of the woods before dark. Lol

Hoping that someone can help a bit.
Went through a ton of puddles last week during a storm, they were so big it would have swallowed a vw. Anyway now she is running weird and wont shift any higher than 2nd, its automatic. Took it to the dealer who I know and they looked at it for me. Bad tps sensor, and a low voltage to the transmission shifting solenoid. Brought it home and did the tps myself, and now it wont even crank. These are the codes after replacing the tps

I just bought my first XJ and it has a broken left rear spring. The spring broke in the rap around the bushing. All I can afford at the time is to replace both rear springs. I'm putting on a pair of 3" lift from the Zone. Will it hurt anything to drive it this way till I can afford the rest of the 3" lift kit? Thank you

With what?
It's gonna look silly and handle differently, but it shouldn't hurt anything. Keep in mind your original shocks won't be long enough, and the rear brake line isn't long enough to safely take it offroad like that.
