CAn someone confirm the part # for the adjustment sleeve? For the tie rod upgrade. I can't find it online at autozone. I also noticed the price for the upgrade are a little different than the thread shared. Maybe it depends on location?

http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/more...nid=565&jpid=7

Mopar numbers are in there too. XJ has the same sleeve between pitman arm TRE and drag link.

I wouldn't hesitate to use a cheaper brand for thr sleeves... They're pretty simple lol

(I used Mevotech)

If I replace the the tie rod do I have to put up the whole front in the air or can I take the whole tie rod off all at once with the tires on the floor. I don't have jack stands at the moment.

I replaced my whole assembly with the jeep on ground. Just used a come along to keep the tires in place. Measured both tie rods to be the same size and put back in

Driving the Jeep, wouldn't go above 2k rpm. Wide open throttle Rpms/speed didnt change. Try downshifting/neutral (auto) still wont go above 2k. Stop, power cycle jeep works fine. Thoughts?

TPS comes to mind. I'll wait until someone else chimes in

Default Temp gauge

My temp gauge shows this after it should be warm:
XJ Ask the Question Thread-2psoau9.jpg

What could be causing this?
My first thought was a faulty sensor, but then I thought stuck thermostat.
I call on the powers of the Jeep community.

Edit: heat was working. But I couldn't tell if it was as hot as should be.

I'd suspect thermostat. When the sending unit fails, the gauge will usually act strangely. If you replace it, buy your new thermostat from the dealer.

Thermostat would be my guess. It's pretty cheap and simple to do, just need to flush the coolant. I'd start there.

Thanks bruv, you too Cane. I flushed the system a few months ago and replaced the sending unit. I should have replaced the thermostat too.
So this needs to be dealership item only?

Just ordered one with a gasket from the dealership. It's $20something and the gasket is $6something. Ac/delcos are fewer than $10.
