So I'm researching about how to stretch my rear end about 1". Other than redrilling the spring perch or welding on new perches this product from MORE offroad is all I've found to be plausible.

My question is why does nobody make these with an angle so it acts as a degree shim also? That would be way too easy, right?

Damn its been forever and a day since I've been on here. What's up CF?
Anyways, only have hi on my heater fan settings. (99 XJ 4.0) Grabbed a blower motor and resistor from the JY.
Does the blower motor have a wiring connector? Or do I have to wire it in there? The last one I did was smelted at the connector (and it was a 91) and I had to wire it anyway. This time, well I hacked off the wires at the JY without checking for a connector.
All my googling didn't yield an answer. Thanks in advance.

Cruiser is about as straight forward and to the point as they come. If a question is asked, he gives the most direct awnser as possible. Please don't take it as an attack. I myself post direct links to awnsers sometimes.

95 zj. Some concept as xj.
What I thought was a bad ecu might turn out to be a fuel problem. At random starts it'd take forever to turn over. But I have just discovered if you give it gas while you try it will eventually turn over much quicker.
Some probable causes could be:
Fuel pump
Fuel filter (replaced recently)
Fuel pressure issue with the rail
Figure next time it does it, I will turn the key and let it prime and if it starts right up I most likely have a fuel pump on the way out?

So this question got buried and I never really got an answer.
I'm trying to find an underbody/chassis "clunk" that seems to occur with front end suspension movement and/or body roll. Have determined it's not the control arms or sway bar.
While crawling around underneath, I noticed 1) end play in my slip yoke and 2) a fair amount of transmission and T-case movement at the rear cross member.
My question is: is this amount of movement and play normal, or have I (possibly) found the culprit? Thanks!

Oh, also. My camera picked up the "clunk" in the second video. Right at the end as my front tires drop off the curb back onto pavement.

May or may not be the source of the noise but the transmission mount is probably shot with that much play, the transmission bolts to the crossmember there and should not move around much

Slip yoke certainly needs some grease in it. Unbolt the pinion-end U joint, pop the straps off on that rubber boot, and the whole thing slides rearward. From the second video I couldn't tell if that was dead shocks or transmission mount making noise.

Swapping out an AW4 and I think the torque converter was not fully seated on the shaft before the bell housing was bolted to the engine and may have bent the flex plate. removed/reseated the T/Converter and reinstalled. Now the flex plate seems to ride close to the inspection plate, starter engages, but doesn't disengage from the teeth easily. Crankshaft sensor may also not be sensing the position. Turning the crankshaft via the 19mm pulley nut is very hard. Any other ideas.
Also: Removing and/or reseating that trans. oil dipstick tube from the pan tube with the O-ring is the hardest part of this swap.
Any tips.

Hey guys I'm a new owner of a 1998 jeep xj and this seems to be a good spot to ask my questions.
My driver and passenger doors will not lock. They have manual locks and the rockers are stuck in the 'Lock' position. They will not move. The key also will not lock the door. The previous owner didn't bother to say anything...
I have searched around about this issue and it seems to be mostly related to bent rods. I've taken the panel off but there are a few bends here and there and I have no reference to figure out what bend should and shouldn't be there.
If I reach my hand inside the door I can move the locking mechanism but if I try to put the panel back it just resets to an unlocked position almost like there isn't enough slack or something.
Does someone have some reference pictures to show how those rods are supposed to be? I don't want to start pulling bends out that are supposed to be there.
