I know that it is totally out of season but I found a guy on CL selling an AC system for $100. And he is in the same town as me.

pretty vague description he has, but what should I look into before taking a look at it? How can I be assured that it works and such. Any imput would be appreciated.

General maintenance question:
What's the best lubricant for a mechanical speedometer cable? I'm leaning toward graphite, but maybe lithium would be better?

Driving through cleveland today and noticed a high pitched tone coming from down next to my feet, i think. It directly correlated with my acceleration lol I would give it gas and it went away and when i let up it would come back. driving me nuts. Any ideas?

Yes the FSM details how to do that. You can also read about the process here: http://www.billavista.com/Tech/Artic...ble/index.html

High pitch means its probably a bearing of some kind. See if its tied to RPM or speed. If its RPM then its probably on the belt (idler pulley bearing or something, maybe alternator charge whistle). Speed could be anything on the drivetrain.

Yes I've searched for this seems that everyone has asked this question and noone has answered it. I just rewired my headlights due to corrosion under the air box, I ended up with four extra wires on the chassis side and can't seem too find where they go. I have a sneaky suspicion that they are for fog lights that were not equipped in my cherokee but since I can't seem too find a wire diagram for the chassis to headlight harness clip I'm unsure as to if I wired this correctly even tho everything works properly I'm ocd about extra loose wires.so my question is are the brown w white, white w green, light blue, and red w orange wires for fog lights that are not there? I seem to be getting power from both red orange wires.
Here's what I have from the '95 FSM:

Not sure if this will be useful for you. This FSM layout is kind of annoying... you really have to hunt to find all the references

I bought black steel wheels from summit last year but didnt get center caps cuz money was tight and a set of wheels shipped for $192 was affordable but the caps at the time were not. My question is, can I use any center cap that's 3.270" in diameter and that will fit over the lug nuts? I can't find the ones that were suggested at time of purchase.
