I am trying to make some bastard packs for my jeep, so I went to the JY today to find some but they closed before I could yank em out. Bolts were seized in the bushing sleeve. Anyways, on my way out, I saw another S10, late 90s. Somebody had already pulled the axle out and the only thing holding the leafs on we're the front eye bolts. Easy to ****** out! Here's where I'm not sure. These leaf packs only had two leafs and then a overload spring, so a total of 3 leafs. Is this the correct leaf pack to make a bastard pack, it seems that most of the s10s had 4 or 5 leafs but this one only 3. Will this still work, will it make less lift? Or r they just stronger leafs? Thanks

Pretty much anywhere in the passenger side of the engine bay. I was able to get my vacuum line to curve all the way back to underneath the a/c canister (I think). Didn't have to cut anything. I'll try to take a picture if I get a break from work

Pardon the grime. The green is the ball and the red is the line. Unhook vacuum line from the bumber and carefully pull the line up from the fender. Careful, because this line also supplies your cruise and emissions purge solenoid. I was able to curve my line behind the battery and under the a/c canister (I think that's what it is). Hanging from one zip tie through the original bracket for the bumper. No strain on the line and it's like the thing was also meant to fit there. Perfect. It's out of the way of oil filter changes and pretty much in a spot where I'll likely never move it. Super easy to do. I still have my original bumper but missing the end cap so I decided to move it before the ball was cracked by road stuff from being exposed.
Edit: I see in the picture that the a/c lines don't touch the canister. I think it's related to emmisions. Either way, hang it somewhere in there.

I went out to move it, looked up under the fender and this spot looked to temping to ignore. The left hole was already in the brace, so drilled one hole and used the original screws and there it is. I'll monitor it and if I think its in danger I'll move it up to where your is. Its definitely not going to get hit from the front.

What year? On my renix I installed it under the coolant overflow tank on the passanger side firewall. Fits nicely
Can anyone recommend a set of lug nuts for an XJ? I want something that meets the following:
1) works with the tool that came with the Jeep (3/4" I believe).
2) is decent quality (won't rust, metal cap won't come off, etc.)
3) ideally, it will look the same as the stock lug nuts, in case I mix and match
I see a few online but would love a recommendation from someone who is happy with theirs.

I had good luck with these. Solid unit, so no cap.

If my AC is on and after a few minutes switches to a different setting I.E. From the upper vents to the defrost vent. Then when I change the setting from low to high and another setting it will come back on at the setting I set it at then about 5-10 minutes later it will go back to the Defrost vent.
Only issues is with AC on not with heat. is that a blend door issue, resistor or blower motor? Do I even have it in the right ballpark in the system or is there something else I need to trouble shoot in addition to diagnose?
