Got mine at Sears. You can try auto parts stores, as well

Two questions about a trail-quality paint job for an XJ:
1) When repainting to a lighter color, how much paint should I be looking for to do the exterior and doorjambs?
2) For the sake of cost, simplicity, and future touch-ups, would single stage paint be the best option?

I live in the cold part of this world and anything that could make my xj's life in winter would be great. She sits outside year round.. no shop
Would putting the shift lever in Neutral make the atf circulate and warm up better? I have seen magnetic oil pan heaters, any opinions on those?

Freeze-plug style block heater is awesome. Unless you have a 2.5L with the 3-speed auto your transmission circulates fluid in park, and the ATF mingles with the engine coolant in the OE radiator. Or do you mean putting the magnetic heater on the transmission?

miss you
