Best way to clean a dirty engine bay? Anything I need to watch out for?

Plastic bags over the electronics, simple green cleaner spray the dirty parts, and a hose and a brush if you want

The atf got changed over a couple weeks ago, it has semi synthetic atf, diffs have 75-90syn. The pan is a galvanized steel looking kind of material.

Am I able to use gear oil in the np231 with the oil pump removed?

If so, what viscosity ?

I just did a fluid and filter change in my aw4, the pan has to be steel, there's two magnets that stick to the bottom of the pan.

Besides the transmission mounting bolts are there any other E12 bolts on a 99 xj? I hate em and wanna change every one.

Can anyone tell me the led bulb size for the bulbs under the dash by the floor boards? Preferably from super bright LEDs.com. I ordered the wrong ones and are too small.

Actually I think I figured it out, looks like the regulator is leaking..

Looks like the quick-connect fitting is dying from here. There're O-rings inside it.

It's wet on both sides, that was kind of a crap picture, but it's actually leakin on the regulator side, pretty constant drip when runnin at idle..
