Ok guys, about two weeks ago I replaced my stant 195 degree thermostat with a motorad 195 with jiggler valve. My engine runs much cooler now around 150-170 degrees. Ran right around 210 with the stant without a jiggler valve. Is this a problem or concern? And will lower operating temperature affect mpgs? Should add I checked the thermostat in boiling water and my laser gauge confirms, all temperatures are right.

I bought the motorad because I thought it was the new OEM supplier, from the thread a year back or so. Guess I have some number crossrefrencing to do tonight. Thanks cruiser.

Motorad is the factory supplier, but I don't think they sell the same spec stat in the aftermarket.

I doubt they do. Like how cooper sells different brand tires but the cheaper ones are sometimes just that

Hey guys my xj just started making a horrible squeaky noise coming from what feels to be almost under the brake pedal/front driver tire area. My tie rod ends are good and so are my ball joints. What could this noise be?

Same things happening to me all of a sudden. Seemingly throttle related but front end?! Makes no sense. Front end hub bearings?
