What are some other reasons a 4.0 zj wouldn't get to operating temp, besides the thermostat?

I'm stumped right now.

Could be a bad temp sender. Have you verified the temperature?

gg. So you've actually verified the temp then?

Any other signs of running rich? O2S, IAT, CTS, and of course MAP tube are suspects. DFlintstone had a similar issue for the longest time and it ended up being the O2 sensor.

The thermostat that was in it was trashed. Cruiser, being a poor college kid I got the cheaper one at Napa since I get a discount. But I did get the all stainless one.

Dunno. Shock bushings?

You can just buy the U bolts on their own at most parts stores, or kits like Rubicon Express.
