Haha. **** snap rings. Learned to hate them again while doing the sye. I'll definitely get some RTV in there so I don't have to fix a leak sooner than later.

Another question for you guys today.
After driving around for about 5 minutes or so I decided I'd adjust my tb cable. When I was finiahed I took off the intake hose to make sure my butterflies opened all the way and they did but a tiny bit of white smoke came out of the throttle body. I read some places it could be a stuck injector, some said to change the oil and some went as far to say it could be a blown head gasket.
What do you all think?

I think you're being paranoid. Nothing to worry about.
Yea though I walk through the valley of death, I will fear no evil.
Nor smokey intakes....

i put gas in it and it started at least still all the same issues....since then i have put a fuel pressure gauge on it ...it idles and runs bouncing from 40-55 60 the after letting of the throttle it drops to 30-50 still bouncing...check the codes manually with the engine light flashing an got a 12-43-43-55 i have refferd to the book and 12 is -battery power to pcm was disconnected 43 is-misfires and the 55 is end of message code............

Ok I'm new here so feel free to criticize. I have a 96 Grand Cherokee 5.2L. with a glass pack and cold air intake if it matters. It started studdering upon acceleration right about 3,000 rmps at first only at 1/2 to 3/4 of throttle almost like a governor. so i replaced the plugs. Then cap and rotor. Checked all my fluids. and replaced the MAP sensor. NO CHANGE checked the codes and got a #7 misfire and a general misfire cleared the codes after replacing the parts.... today i take my son to school. i was making it to do it again. and it dies. starts makes to school and back dies 2 more times. in under 5 miles of road. and now its in my driveway and will not start again. I'm going to make sure fuel level isn't a problem. it says an 1/8 of tank but i have had several issues with that. But that's a different discussion. also about the same time this started i got a rattle in my exhaust something is in there right after my ressinator. I am new to owning a jeep but not mechanics. but im dumbfounded plz help

Just my .02¢ here capt'n. But I had TPS (throttle position sensor) that gave me the feeling like it was popping out of gear while driving. It wouldn't act up until it warmed up.
There is a write up on CF on how to test the sensor with an ohm meter. (its a free test so why not) On mine there was a spot on the TPS that would give an erratic reading on the meter, the rest of the sensor would test fine with a sweeping resistance on the ohm meter. Replaced TPS and no problems.
