Put a test light on the solenoid wire going into the starter and have someone turn it over. If your not getting any power there check your starter relay and ign switch

2000 xj

Do I need to recharge my ac refrigerant? It's intermittently blowing cold air. At first when I turn on the ac it blows frosty cold air, then after a few minutes it's like the compressor isn't working. I'll turn off the ac for about 5 minutes and when I turn it back on the ac blows cold like normal with no problems.

I've got bad UCA and LCA bushings. The arms themselves look fine it's just the bushings. My question is, would it be smarter to buy all new arms or just bushings?

Default 1991 Cherokee overhead console issue

I have a 1991 Cherokee Limited with the fancy interior including the overhead console with temp/compass. When I bought the truck years ago, I knew then the outside temp gauge sensor did not work (mounted behind the front license plate) as the gauge always read 5degrees Celsius. The compass worked fine though. Recently the overhead display went blank altogether. Very recently it has started flashing on and off usually lighting all segments of the LED. Anybody got an idea where I should start????

Sounds like bad wiring. Trace them and check for bare spots. Also clean the ground.
