I recently noticed that pretty much all the rubber bushings in the front end need replacing, ball joints too but that's a whole topic I think.
I just want to replace all the rod bushings in the front. But, I'm having trouble figuring out which parts to buy.
The rods and ends all seem fine so I thought I could just replace the bushings. Then I read a lot of people saying to just replace the entire ends.
Okay, but then when you look at the Chilton's or haynes diagrams they're called the "tie rod" and "center link".
Some places call this a drag link too I'm guessing. Then there is left and right ends with left and right threading and my head starts spinning. Who's left and right anyway? Facing the front of the car, or the way the car is facing?
Could somebody please explain what I need to get this done? I'm pretty darn sure that just replacing the bushings on the end of both of those rods (I already have a trackbar bushing kit that's going in when I do the tie rods) will do the trick.
Thanks a million.

Also, does it take two boots for each end? Thanks.
And, is this what you're talking about?

i recently attempted to hook my after market stereo. i soldered all the connections where they were supposed to be. when i turned on my jeep. none of my gauges in my insturment cluster, odometer, and interior lighting stopped working. ive been checking fuses and havent found any blown. what did i do?
