Could still be just the turn signal switch directly related to it not going back in place after making a turn. The cruise control could be a separate issue.

I just got it a few months ago theres tons of little things wrong, well not tons but a few. Windows only go down from driver door ( I heard it was typical ) the rear window windsheild wiper doesnt work, although the defrost works great.

Riddle me this. Fill up with a little gas. No start what's so ever, have Complete power. Hit starter, it fires right up. Go down the road a bit and crazy clunk noise starts when I'm on gas only, stop to check it out, get back in noise gone. Starter, nss?

definitely sounds like a starter is going bad, at least for the no start problem. As for the clunking, I dunno. It could possibly be the starters still engaged? Just a guess.

Either way I think you need a starter.

Alright, 99 xj, my rear cargo light comes on when the doors are open. When the hatch is open, it doesnt turn on. Is it supposed to? Seems like it should.

does yours have the button on the light itself. Mine does (although it doesn't push in anymore). There is no auto-on plunger switch for the hatch like the doors have.

I think the whole light is the switch, but I think it doesnt work.

I might have to rig up an LED bar with an auto switch, its damn annoying trying to get stuff in/out of there at night.

I'll usually just open a door. Lol.

Itd just be easier if it came on when the hatch opened.
