It means that something in your anti lock brake system isn't happy. Could be worn brakes or a bad abs sensor. When was the last time you serviced your brakes?

So the axle and frame bolts for the upper control arm are the same?

Last question until I finish up the rust repair and move on to the next project. What gauge thickness is the sheet metal for our xj's? Like previously posted, Im patching my rear 1/4 panel (will cut and fold soon) and need to know what size metal to weld in place. Thank you

I believe it's either 20ga or 22ga. I would use at least 18 gauge for the patch steel though - welding it is gonna be a *****

Just make small tacks around until you have it welded all around

Do I need uppers and lowers, or just lowers?

At 3 inches you will be fine with just the lowers, but the uppers are super flimsy, and love to bend in half. Get both if you have the money.

Ok. Thanks everyone for all the help. I'm a tractor/trailer mechanic by trade but this 4wd stuff is all new to me. Plus, I know how it can be answering the same questions over and over. I run the largest forum on the net for the Yamaha Vstar 650 and sometimes it can get old. The attitude here is great.

Replace with 11 ga. Jeep might sit sideways but you won't dent it...
