XJ Ask the Question Thread
Just asking for a quick poll.. Time for New Tires, before winter. I'm driving mostly on road/highway. I'm all stock. So, sticking with a 235x75x15..
Question is:
Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac vs. General Grabber AT2 ?
Goodyear gives a little more tread depth, and (in my opinion) a better look. And, I want something a little more aggressive look than the radials on there now. But, there is a budget in here somewhere, and Grabbers are about $40 less per tire. So, preparing for winter, which would you guys go with?
Or, would you recommend something else, entirely? All opinions welcome here. Thanks, guys!

hi, i have a 98 jeep cherokee classic. it recently started acting up on me. at idle or while driving, the RPM's would drop off to below 1000rpms then shoot back up, then drop off, and so on and so forth and would continue that. i ran a scan on it, scan pulled up bad throttle position sensor, i just went and bought one. if anyone could please help guide me on how to correctly install it and make the adjustments to it i would greatly appreciate it. i love my jeep and its my ride to and from work so i would love to get it back up and in running order

do you think that this is too hot for the 4.0 to get? Seems to only do it after driving down highway for a bit. never gets over 210 driving for short periods. Brand new every thing Mopar long block, water pump, tstat & housing, new stock radiator, dirtbound off road tripple fan kit.

Run your engine until it gets to operating temp and roll up a newspaper and try to stop your radiator fan. If you can slow it down or stop it , it need to be replaced. Your electric/aux fan should kick on at 220*, is it?

Mine never gets above like 205 under highway speeds. Only reaches 220ish at hot idle like at a drive thru or in traffic.
