This included valve job, seals, magnafluxing it or however you spell it, and decking it and some other small stuff, I can't remember what exactly was done to the second one to make it more, I think he put new exhaust valves in. Valves, seals, surfacing and magnaflux...

You can buy a reman head for $450...

Yeah I buddy just told me he got his shaved and fluxes for less than a 100 on his 4 cyl s10 so it can't be much more for me

That's what I was thinking, for a trail rig, I'd resurface it at the house, use a good head gasket and call it a day.

The second one went in with the Clegg stroker kit, so I spent the extra for the works. But prices up here are higher. Last year I bought a hesco aluminum head for 500, not sure what I'm going to do with it yet.

Is the ds dangerously short or will it be fine. I have no vibes when driving.

It's hard to tell. Get as much droop as possible and see it is close to falling out.
