alright appreciate the tips!

There is nothing quick about quick disconnect fuel lines.

Make sure you bought the right one. If you still have the issue and you bought the right one maybe take it back for a replacement and see of the new one works.

Yeah, I got the right one. I just replaced the valve cover gasket and cranked it up and it still pegged to the right. I'll try to exchange the switch and see if that works. I really appreciate the help.

It's a good thing I didn't quit my day job. I look at the sending unit before I was going to take it back, and there was a little piece of rubber clogging the hole by the electroid (thingy) and when I removed that and put it back on...oil pressure is at 60.

Again, thanks for your help.

Here is the strange noise. I was driving down the Hwy doing about 55 or so. If not switching from N to D, it makes the noise when I let off of the gas until the RPM hit about 1500. In N it does it non-stop until the speed is below 20 or so. The phone does not pick it up that well but you can hear the sound I am talking about in the video.

Has the Jeep been overheated before? Don't forget, it could be the head gasket, or even air in the cooling system from a leak you just haven't found, though **** does happen

Regarding your exhaust smell - what is it? Fuel rich or sweet?

Fuel filter is under the cargo box strapped to the side of the frame rail. It looks almost brand new, no crud or road debris on it yet. I guess I'll start checking fuel pressure and clean out all the PCV/CCV lines, check all the spark plugs and wires, etc.

Can someone make me a list or give me a link. I'm changing my head gasket and it the most extensive repair I've ever done. So I just want to do it right.
