The 1st pic is for cherokees with the gauge the reads the psi. Mechanical gauge.
Attachment 169148
The 2nd picture is for cherokees with just the oil light.
Attachment 169149
Make sure you bought the right one. If you still have the issue and you bought the right one maybe take it back for a replacement and see of the new one works.

It's a good thing I didn't quit my day job. I look at the sending unit before I was going to take it back, and there was a little piece of rubber clogging the hole by the electroid (thingy) and when I removed that and put it back on...oil pressure is at 60.
Again, thanks for your help.

Glad it's solved.

Here is the strange noise. I was driving down the Hwy doing about 55 or so. If not switching from N to D, it makes the noise when I let off of the gas until the RPM hit about 1500. In N it does it non-stop until the speed is below 20 or so. The phone does not pick it up that well but you can hear the sound I am talking about in the video.

Great information, I checked a couple of these steps, I do have some bubbles comming up under the radiator cap, couldn't detect any cracks, I'll change oil and observe, send off for a sample test, I did determine that I have the 0630 head. Bummer I had planned on an expedition rack.
Regarding your exhaust smell - what is it? Fuel rich or sweet?
