350 yes, alot of older people I hear talk of this, not sure what needed though, and our resident Comanche owner, clown, will answer the light question.

wouldnt that require a new tranny and driveshaft entirely? and a regearing ratio of the axles to compensate for the extra power they have to deal with?

I suggest you stockpile sets as you find them.

a lil bit too much just to swap a motor. sure you have more power. but that would take alot of money. and alot of time fightin rusted bolts, sleep(for you non coffee drinkers) and a **** ton of math figuring out the measuements and power/weight ratio to make sure you dont twist the chassis up or a rollover.

I did however have Midas do the ac last summer and they replaced the fitting because mine were leaking. I dont think my gauge hose is pressing down Schrader valve to let the refrigerant flow.
I'm going to go down to Oriellys and get new fittings and try that.

91 aw4 problem
i just replaced my tranny cooler lines and now it seems i got bigger issues... after i refilled it with fluid (it only took 4.5 liters) and tryed to drive it it wouldnt budge and it makes clunking noises when i give it alittle gas.
also i dont have a scanner for it
the initial problem was that a cooler line pressure fitting let go and i lost possibly all my fluid... im hoping this is an issue of the torque converter or the plumbing in the tranny not being filled with fluid, dipstick reads good and it took 4.5 liters
any advice apprciated thx
