Um, recommended by who.......jeep recommends 32 all around for stock tires. If you're still having gas issues with that much air then something is def wrong. How much do you drive again

I'm surprised they havent exploded yet. Thats alot of ****ing tire pressure for a jeep. Especially if those are the stock tires you have on there. I know the goodyears that came on mine were rated for forty something psi MAX.

Then only time I see 50psi in a tire is after a plug is installed and they run 50psi for a few miles to make sure it holds then back down to 32ish

I'm running nexen road in mt's 235/75/15 and it says 50. My 31's I'm getting will also be 50

The tire may say 50 but that's just the max of the tire. Every vehicle has a different standard. On the door frame, drivers door, there is a sticker that says what the vehicle should be at. I run mine at 30-31 since I'm slightly larger than stock and get a great ride out of it. People with 31s tend to drive with 26-30. But if you feel you wanna run that. You will get improper tire wear

That must make for a very uncomfortable ride and greatly increases the chances of a blowout while offroad. Most consider 35psi as the max. The pressure listed on the sidewall is not the recommended tire pressure to drive with. Thats the max pressure the tire is rated for. And when you go to larger tires you supposed to use a lower psi that stock size tires.

This. It will wear right down the center.

I never knew this, my bad. Thank you for the info. What should I run them at? 32? Also my tires are wearing decent. They have some messed up treads on the inside of the tire due to my wheels not being aligned. I've had these tires for about a yea and a half.

No but it will cause better mpg. More psi= better mpg. Less psi=more comfort. You dont want to run to little or to much or it will cause funky wear. Same with alignment. Id recommend you at least do a tape measure alignment to set your toe. I ran 32psi in my 235/75/15s. Now at 30psi for the 31's. My buddy had to take his treadwrights up to 80psi to get the bead to seat. When it did, it was loud.
