XJ Ask the Question Thread
I just installed longer lca's on my jeep without a ratchet strap. I bolted the passenger side lca into the body mount, then I took one of the mounting bolts and simply slide it through the lca axle mount on the driver side. Then I took a long pry bar/cheater tube and slide it between the axle tube and the lca bolt. When you pull up on the bar the axles caster positively increases. I put a floor jack under the end of the cheater bar and jacked it up until the passenger side lca slide right into the axle mount. Once that one is bolted in remove the floor jack and the other lca should pop right in place.
