Are the ends worn out or are the grease boots cracked? You can replace the grease boots from a parts store.

Chill out, things get lost in the fray. This is a busy thread man.

The rubber boot on the drag link is a standard TRE dust boot or grease boot. Auto parts stores have these for cheap. If your steering is old, though, you'll want to just replace the all the components anyway as chances are they're worn and you'll likely damage it upon removal anyway.

If you're going to replace any components check out the ZJ upgrade. Same cost, better components: https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f2/zj-...upgrade-22717/

Do you mean the tie rod ends? Ball joints are on the axle.

Where is my coolant disappearing too? Last night I get home from work, motor is hot so I dont open the radiator cap but just check the coolant tank, its at the add mark. I top it off, and this morning I come back to my Jeep. I open the cap, there is coolant in the radiator. Check the tank and the level is back down to the add mark. Where the heck did my coolant go over night?

There was no puddle. I just replaced couple of days ago rad cap, water pump, hoses, thermostat, and had a shop do a pressurized system check (thats how I found out my cap was bad). So where else could my coolant go over night while my Jeep was just sitting?

Also if it matters I was parked on a downhill street. It wasnt to steep though.

That monster fuse is in the power distribution center under the hood. There's no relay.

Your fan doesn't work on any of the four settings, correct? Speeds 1-3 go through a resistor pack that breaks every so often.

What year and engine? Is your oil level going up?

Yes, definitely do, the number one cause of unexplained coolant loss for 2000 and 2001 models is a cracked head. Hopefully you just have a pinhole leak in the radiator though.

Just checked the oil level. It's at perfect mark just like it was when I last checked it two weeks ago.

That's good to hear. Next time you do an oil change make sure to check it for color and consistency. If it's milky or muddy you have a problem. It is a Jeep, so don't rule out that you could have a cracked head AND be burning or leaking oil! Do you have the nice dash with the oil pressure gauge? An overall decline in pressure over time is also a good indicator of coolant destroying bearings (as a result of a cracked head)

In the mean time I'd crawl underneath with a flash light and start looking for pinhole leaks. It helps to get everything clean first.
