Okay I'm new to this forum and I'm haveing a issue with my 1995 jeep cherokee sport. One day I was on my way home from work and I went to pull into my drive way and I down shifted and let the clutch out to go and it stalled. I than tried started it and the only way it would start was if I had it in neutral. As it was running if I pushed the clutch in just a little bit it would stall the motor. Well now to this day I checked things. At first it didn't have any spark at all so I put a new cam shaft sensor in it and now I have a little bit of spark but not very good. I have fuel at the fuel rail but i havnt checked the pressure yet. I was wondering if It would be the CPS or something to do with my clutch because my clutch pedal has no pressure now. I would appreciate it if someone would help me out. Thank you

I just got a floor jack for my birthday, and its lift range is 5 to 13 inches. Is that enough? Only way i can see that work is lifting from the axles. I havent really looked into to be honest. I will be doin a 3 inch lift in a month or so if it matters.

You can always use a wooden block on top of the jack for a little bit of raised heigth. But it does sound pretty small. If its one of those small compact jacks they are a pain to use with the jeeps. You need a full size 2-3 ton floor jack. Harbor freight sells them for pretty cheap.

Cherokee forum does not recommend this and will not endorse this advise...... Now he can't sue the site when this bad advice hurts him.... It's never a good idea to put a chunk of wood on a small jack to "make it lift higher".......
