Need some opinions/thoughts
I have 4.88 R+Ps for a D30 and an 8.8 I have a spare D30 to build. And I'll be getting the 8.8 soon.
From all the stuff I've read both axle pretty much NEED a full case locker especially if I'm gonna use 4.88s and 35s.
I just can't decide on what to do.
I want a selectable for the front. I looked at Yukon Zip Lockers. They look good, price is better than ARB. But do they suffer from the same o-ring failure thing as ARBs? That's the only thing that's steered me away from ARB. One thing I don't really want to do is to have to tear back into this diff right away.
Eaton e-lockers. Seems not too bad. But from all the installs I've read, seems like it can be kind of exspensive procuring the right bearing for it. Plus the e-locker itself isn't exactly cheap. Doesn't have the possible o-ring issue though.
For the rear, I was thinking TrueTrac, but if I can get a good deal on a Yukon for it I might go that way since I'd be setting air up for the front (if I go that route)
What do you guys think? Anyone have experience with Yukon Zip Lockers? Rear TrueTracs? E-locker?

Where would be the proper place to post a thread on a cherokee im considering buying? I want opinions and what could cause the problems it has.
I dont want to post it in the wrong forum.

No extra electronics or air lines that can fail, nothing to get unplugged or snagged, and I can lock both axles for the price of a selectable.

I won't pay for a selectable. Too expensive in my opinion. I plan to Aussie lock the front since it only takes effect in 4WD, and I want a TrueTrac in the rear so it will function normally (like an LSD) on the road.

No title. Plus he got his liscense taken for a year. Only been sitting for 4 months or so. And thats what i thought. Or pay off the rest of the loan and get title. Or use as parts for my MJ.
