They've settled a little bit since I put them in, but that should give you a better idea.

Someone needs to make a meme about this and post it in their signature. Or better yet, use it as one of the banner ads.

So, there's this hose.. from what I've looked up it's something to do with the PCV system. It's like epoxied on to the airbox (noticed when I went to remove airbox to get to the bolts on the back of the PS pump so I could change the serpentine belt). Also, on the valve cover end, it looks like part of the rubber is missing... and there was a wet spot around it (oil?).

So, what's it called so I can buy a new one? I've found the elbow piece that comes off of the VC, but I can't find the hose or the part that attaches to the air box.

Its just a breather hose for the VC. Junkyard ftw

I'd get a new air box top also.

Okay! After the gas it takes to drive to the JY, it might be cheaper to just buy the hose actually. :P

Renix Vacuum Harnesses
The vacuum harness that attaches to the front of the valve cover and includes the grommet/fitting, and is called the front harness, is Napa part number BK 715-1367

The vacuum harness that is closest to the air cleaner, EGR etc, and is called the rear harness, is Napa part number BK-715-1366.

The tube from the rear of the valve cover to the intake manifold is part number 715-1365.

Check your IAC. It might be sticking. While you're in the throttle body give it a good cleaning as well. Couldn't hurt.

Default blinkers on an 89 comanche

hey, my blinkers will not work on my 89 comanche. alll bulbs are good. all other lights burn except the corner lights in the front. checked the bulbs with a 9 volt and they work, but will not turn on for signal, hazard, or running. just changed the signal switch in the column and made sure everything was connected properly. is there a relay i am missing. all fuses are good.

thanks,
joey

Have you checked for continuity in the wires?

I had that same problem after changing everything that can be pulled out, I looked at the old blinker and noticed a light clear coating on the contacts. I got some contact cleaner and very fine sand paper (matches striker), folded in half and gently cleaned all the related contacts in the fuse box. Worked great after that.
After the sanding/cleaning, I recommend using some electrically conductive anti corosion grease. It is comonly used in old houses with aluminum wiring. It helps conductivity and prevents corrosion. Do not mistake for Dielectric grease. this stuff is non conductive.
Check with your local home electrical building store.
