I'd expect the $75-100 range locally but I've only seen listed them a few times. Not sure what a JY would charge. If you like the look a similar year TJ also drops in.
Blanket caught in the rear liftgate latch. Now can't open.

I slammed the rear liftgate closed and did not notice a blanket was covering the latch.
Now, the blanket is totally stuck as a lot of cloth got jammed hard into that latch.
The liftgate is closed, but slightly ajar, and I can not reopen it.
From the outside, 2 of us tried to stick our fingers into the gap and yank, while one hand held the handle up in the open position. Nothing.
Being mindful of not snapping the plastic liftgate handle.
When I turn the key to unlock the hatch, it sounds like nothing is blocked.
I can hear the normal latch clunk unlocking on the inside.
Any idea how to proceed?
Get a torch and try to burn out the stuck cloth?
Get a friend to hold the latch open and kick from the inside?
Pull off the panel from the inside and try to get the cloth free?
I have a bad feeling about this one.

Hey guys/gals, my drivers power door lock only opens when the lock/ unlock switched is activated, unable to open with the key, is there an access panel that I can get to the lock mechanism? I know its tight in there, but is it areal pain in the **** to replace it? thanks for any tips/help
Does anyone know where to get a longer slip yoke cover boot? At 3in of lift the driveshaft moved enough that I cant get both ends of the rubber boot to stay on, one end pops off exposing the slip yoke and gets dirt in the grease.

Sudden bout of wisdom while I was on the throne lol
Longer boot won't help ya much since the slip yoke assembly will really be too short anyway. I have no idea where you'd find one, but maybe a shock boot could be adapted to fit?
What you should really look at is an SYE. Immediately though a longer DS would fix that problem. Your profile says you run an 8.25 - maybe one from a D35 XJ would fit?

Have someone pull up on the handle from outside while you work yourself over the bench seat and give the gate a firm kick. Worked for me when my tailgate seized up on me..... Aim low where the blanket is stuck in the latch

Hi Everyone,
I have a 96 Jeep Cherokee, on Christmas Day while driving I heard a knocking sound, not a piston, more like a belt knock, pulled over and had it towed, I turned it off it didn't die. The other day when trying to figure out what was wrong, we started it and the shake from the engine was terrible, have new mounts, know it is not the problem. When you reeve it up the shaking smooths out. Any one know what might be the problem?
I didn't want to start a new post, so here I am LOL
Thanks for any help.
Rocks

Hey everyone, first time asking a question here although I have been reading this forum for a while now. Thanks to all the veterans giving us noobs some solid info!
Got a question about O2 sensors. I have a 2000 XJ with Cali emissions and would really like to know part numbers for NTK sensors for the bank 1 and 2 upstream pair. Read though alot of threads and cant seem to find them..... Figured I'd ask here before makin phone calls.
Thanks in advance!
